Build is currently still under the knife, but this fine 4Runner started life as a 22RE, IFS, and a standard transmission. Through research and lack of power it was decided that instead of following everyone else and swapping a 3.4L v6 engine into it, it was decided to take it to the next step and keep it as Toyota as possible. Which grew the decision to swap a 4.7L v8 out of a Tundra into the drivetrain, and while we were at it why not add some Dana 60’s?? Mixed all off this into a bowl and came up with the name Tun’drunner. We are Vlogging the experience on YouTube as well on the Star Spangled Garage channel. Anywho heard about this platoand love the idea so I’m giving it a shot!! Thanks!!
