I was inspired to find a Jeep having never owned one and I was seeking something different and surfing Pinterest and came across "Nightshade" and was inspired and did research on the Grand Cherokee. My oldest brother owned one back in 2002 and would take me fishing in it and I loved the ride and the room of that model year. This one struck me as a transition for Jeep to a boxier sporty type of style. When Jeep decided to put a v8 in this and present the SRT8, it caught my attention. Tho this one is not that model, I decided to make it my own with the few funds that I had at the time and I am very glad I did. It has been one of the most dependable vehicles that I have ever owned after 4 years and recently replacing the radiator, the alternator, the battery, the starter, the upper and lower hoses, the catalytic converter (due to the thief I heard at 3am cutting off the brand new one 2days old) and the headlight upgrades that do give it that updated look. It commands attention with the less power of the Hemi v8 that I desire someday. Even though my sunroof doesn't operate properly, I love my first Jeep and have been very pleased with it for 4 years and it has taken me all over the place and as I seek that lowered price of the Hemi v8 somewhere someday, this baby may just be kept just because it was my first, but who knows, money always talks a good deal. : )
