In 1996 I found this Scout sitting on the side of a road and had been watching it. On Dec. 31, 2000 I decided to see if I could find the owner and buy it.... it was gone... So I passed my card around the local neighborhood... 3 months later I get a call and was asked if I was interested in the Scout... $500 later that day, it's on my trailer. It was painted Cal-Trans Orange inside and out, had a VW seat welded in and the top was bailing wired in. Took her home and put fluids in it, a battery and she started. Drove it around the farm for about 3 months and decided it needed a complete do over. It took just over a year and 8500 bennies later to her current build. I've got some new builds in the works.
