Ever since I saw the Z71 in Peterson's 4 Wheel Ultimate Adventure back when I was in high school I've always wanted to build a full size Chevy crawler. The original build ended up being a 83' GMC regular cab. The TBI motor I swapped in was plagued with electrical issues and the project never ran consistantly so it sat for years. I decided I had to either rebuild or part it out. I came across this 04' Chevy 1500 extend cab for dirt cheap and that was the boost I needed to finally get the project done.
