There is nothing normal about this build. It started its life as a 1995 Jeep YJ. I originally built this jeep for SEMA 2012. Shortly I started wheeling it and started really trying to use it. Over the next few years a lot of things where getting beat up and I started cutting things up. 7 years later it doesn't really have anything left from where it started. The only original thing is the motor still.
The story on the two tone paint. The jeep has been green its entire life. I am a huge fan of green. I started seeing the Ford blue color and wanted to repaint the buggy blue. I started disassembling it to paint it blue and my wife said that I couldnt paint it blue since it has been green and everyone knows it green. I decided to try and two tone it and see what it looked like. She told me how dumb that would look. Well I love a good challenge. So I laid it out and went to painting. Finally when it was all done and reassembled she came out and decided it "looked pretty good".
