This is the ultimate “budget” build. My goal was to take my virtually stock LJ and transform it into a performer in less than a week, in my garage, by myself. I bought a welder a few days prior to starting the build, taught myself to stick metal together, and went after it. This is the result.
I sold my old wheels/tires/axles and Rough Country lift . This nearly covered the lightly used JKU axles (already re-geared, and truss’d), eBay factory wheels, and Federal Couragia’s.
Motivation is my daily driver!
