I picked up this TJ in April 2025, it had frame rot on both sides and was completely stock. Repaired the frame front to back on both sides, and installed the long arm. This was a northern Jeep originally, 3 speed auto with 3.07 gears. 🤢
Installed the full line up from Artec, then swapped the rear to Motobilt for the hitch.
For wheels I wanted something different, my plan was JL axles for added strength and width. Went with Method 314s in gloss titanium. I dig the rally look and I’ve never seen these on a Jeep.
Picked up a 392 front axle and JTR rear, the plan is 37s.
For now, it’s slow cruise on 32s.
Interior looked good, but smelled 23 years old. Ripped everything out, cleaned tub, insulated trans tunnel and installed Bedrug. For seats I fitted Corbeau Moabs to the factory bases.
