This is my Jeep. There are many like it, but this one is mine. My Jeep is my best friend. It is my life. I must master it as I must master my life. My Jeep, without me, is useless. Without my Jeep, I am useless. I must drive my Jeep true.
After seeing a friends awesome Jeep and learning about the existence of the "LJ" I was hooked. After months of searching I finally found one in my price range that was in good shape and had enough mods to get her on the trails. After one outing I quickly realized that control arms, armor and a winch were high priorities. After phase 1 was done I started focusing on more clearance with a Tummy tuck and eventually 35's on beefed up shafts and new gearing.
So far - she has been reliable with the typical quirks you see of Jeeps of this age.
