I have a soft spot for the old willy’s Jeep’s. Picked this one up after selling my last one about 5 years earlier. It had the dauntless v6 in it with the stock running gear. Eventually I wanted more power and picked up a TPI 350 out of a 89 IROC. Swapped that in and put a Turbo 350 behind that mated to the Dana 18. What a beast. It’s so light with all that power and is so fun to drive.
The rear had a trutrac in the back that I haven’t messed with. I welded the front. I think it’s a Dana 30. The previous owner swapped the running gear from an early CJ5 into it so it’s not the Dana 25’s.
