After my first trip to Moab I realized two things. I need more wheelbase and I would like to have a automatic. The search was on to upgrade from my TJ Rubicon to a LJ Rubicon. We found a stock Rubicon within weeks of getting home and the upgrades started as soon as it was dropped off at Geahr Off-road in Jeffersonville Indiana. At this point the little Jeep has done trails like Rubicon and Fordyce with no winching and it is a regular on trails in Kentucky and Tennessee. Hopefully we can continue to run the harder trails on a modest budget and be reliable enough to drive long backroads and weekend adventures with no issues because I have no plans for a V8 and one tons. Just wanted to see what a lightly modified LJ Rubicon can do and so far it does well. If you have any questions please let me know.
