I always wanted an old XJ, I bought this because it was a Limited and I knew that it has potentials, finally I started upgrading ti step by step, first with a stocker, then I replaced the rear axle with a Ford 8.8 and installed a used Chevy LM7 with a 4L60e transmission and after a few years I decided to start all over again, replacing the engine with Crate LS3 495 hp with a crate 4L70e and build it from scratch, new paint, re done interior, etc. Unfortunately it has been a super slow process, hope to have it done by the end of this year (fingers crossed)
