"Tread Lightly! is a 501(c)(3) non profit, membership based, national organization focused on responsible motorized recreation. Our team is made up of outdoor enthusiasts spread out across the country, focused on teaching the public how to keep our trails open through a combination of educational programs and outreach. Every year, our members and corporate partners fund hundreds of conservation projects in national forests and other public lands, all with the goal of keeping the adventures we all enjoy sustainable and protected for those that come after us. Sometimes it's trail restoration, other projects focused on protecting sensitive areas, and even volunteer efforts cleaning up dumping debris and litter. This is what we drive both on and off the pavement, and by design, what drives us to keep these recreational opportunities open to the public.
