This began as my covid project. I was going to buy a SXS because I wanted to do more than what I was doing in my 2017 WK2. Greens & Blues weren’t doing it for me anymore. So, I found this 2000 XJ with 72k original miles on it. Body had some dings & dents, unibody only had 1 bad rust spot that needed repaired, and some inside sheet metal rust. I started with only wanting to do a couple things, and it morphed into this. SXS + mods + trailer + taxes and I’d be $25-30k. I paid $2k for this and invested some into it and I’m still well under half of that and I can use it as a 2nd vehicle if I want. I almost swapped the axles for tons, but the trails in the Northeast aren’t all that wide, so I beefed these up. She’ll have a rear 4 link and coil springs in the near future. I just need to find the time to get it done. More pics to come!
