I got this Jeep for $500 from a customer at my old job who needed the transmission rebuilt but he didn’t want to put the money into it. Shortly after I bought a parts Jeep that had a 4” Rough Country lift for $200! I swapped the kit onto my Jeep while also swapping the junk control arms for better units. I drove it for a little bit until I rebuilt a spare transmission and swapped it in. A week later the engine blew up. So I found another 4.0 and re sealed it all and swapped that in. It took me a couple weeks of working on it after work almost every day. Now the upgrades get to start more! End goal is HP D44 in the front and Ford 9” in the rear on 37” tires. I want it to still be able to take road trips but also be capable offroad.
