My online avatar is Lifelong Jeeper because I fell in love with my brothers CJ-5 that he had when I was 8. Riding around in it with the top and doors off altered my DNA and I was forever hooked. I bought my first Jeep when I was 17 and since then, I’ve owned 2 CJ-7’s, a 2 TJ’s, and 2 ZJ’s.
After daily driving/weekend wheeling my first TJ for 12 years, I decided I wanted a longer wheel base, a V8, 4 doors, and a decent cargo space; and it had to be something I could affordably build. I sold it and started to build a ZJ with strong parts the first time that wouldn’t waste time and money from doing rebuilds. My Jeep has undergone different phases of build over the years, but only to replace the next weak OEM part.
