I blew up my Jeep liberty’s engine 3 days after my dad bought a 2017 JKU in June of 2019. They picked me up and I was visibly beside myself worried about how I was gonna get to school and work. They worked it out and surprised me a few days later after I got home from work with this beauty. She was completely stock and I decided to get her dirty. I proceeded to get death wobble almost immediately - right as we headed into winter. After 4 months of finger numbing work through the winter, she was road worthy again and now with all new steering components from the pitman arm down, and a new AEV lift with new tires and wheels. Ever since she’s been a dream, sometimes good, sometimes nightmare. She’s a dwarf compared to all the other JKU’s driving around. But like a dwarf, she’s stout and resilient to everything I’ve thrown at her. We’ve fought against each other and side by side, and can now focus on the fun of even more upgrades, and record setting times of spent paychecks.
