Lots of research and experiments have this WK set up to where most stock parts can replace the worn ones. All bushings that used to clunk are updated and the vehicle rides smoothly and responds to driver input without issue. The front sits about 2” higher than stock at the hub to fender and the rear sits about 2.5” higher than stock. Front suspension has JBA UCAs, new OEM LCAs, Bilstein 5100 set on low and JBA 1/4” strut spacers. Driveshaft angle is not much more than stock with this arrangement yet provides more travel for front wheels. Rear suspension has JBA 2.5” springs, Core 4x4 Tier 1 control arms and TIER 3 trackbar. OEM drivetrain means parts are not hard to find. All driveshaft CVs are replaced. This Grand Cherokee talks the talk and walks the walk, especially off road. It has been fun to extend the life of this war horse and it gets used nearly everyday. Long road trips are comfortable and towing is a breeze with its 7200lb towing capacity. Swap the 5100s for the coilovers when towing.
