Our Jeep is a 2000 WJ that was my wife's first car in 2003. Shortly after getting married in 2008, we sold the Jeep to some friends who needed a SUV. I always regretted selling it and told them I'd buy it back if they ever sold it with the intent of building it into a trail rig. Right before Christmas in 2017, I received a phone call from them saying they'd sell it back, but it needed a transmission. I purchased it back for $250. Turns out, it just needed a TPS sensor. The Jeep was in rough shape needing most of the suspension & brake parts replaced. So I tore into it with the intent of building it how I always imagined it, a capable wheeler with comfort.
