This is Wrangler #2 and it came shortly after selling my 2012 JKU. Vowing to never buy another Jeep because they are perpetually “needing “ upgrades that “had” to be done; I felt good about my decision for about a week and then regret set in.
I held off another couple months and...BAM I had to have another. Every conceivable justification and their indelible benefits to our current situation were presented thoughtfully to my wife.. remember all the fun we had working on it together? Remember all the great people we’ve met on the trails? Her response: Yes honey she said, BUT (oh no) I also recall asking you not to sell your last one. After much debate, we agreed that a new wrangler was a necessity.
The clouds opened up and champagne rained from the heavens as I made my way to the dealership. The salesman handed me the keys and I was off.. I’m glad she didn’t say no.
So now the process begins again. I did promise my wife however, that this will be the mildest if builds 🤫
