Bought this jeep back in 2021 to replace my previous build of my high school truck. With the family growing seemed like we needed a mini van. Ive taken this Jeep through a couple versions already, but currently meets the my needs better then ever. Upgraded from semi float currie 60s and 39 BFG to the latest version on Superduty danaa 60 and 2011+ Sterling 10.5.
I think the most unique feature of this JKU is that I added the third row bench seat to accomadate my family of 6. Middle row was swapped out to captain chairs to make entrance to the third row as easy as possible.
The jeep is sitting with 2 inch lift coils but has a flat belly with the bottom of the frame. Suspension was designed by me in my shop, but taking my favorite features from all kits out there. Most my inspiration came from the Genright JKU Elite suspension kit. I used a TJ tank and moved to behind the axle to provide enough room for a single triangulated 4 link rear suspension. Rear lower frame mounts are from Outta Hand Fab. 3 link front suspension and custom transmission cross member and skid plate. I utilized the Genright JKU Elite transmission mount, 2x4 rectangle tubing and lots of time in the shop grinding and welding. Custom cross member, Genright Transmission mount, and Outta Hand Fab brackets made the flat belly possible. Could not be happier with how it turned out. Still dialing in bump stops ect, but love driving and wheeling it now and will only get better with time.
