Trail to SEMA 2019 – Episode 4: Sledgehammer, Johnson Valley CA

The Trail to SEMA crew left the mountain top forests of Big Bear for the Jeep-destroying terrain of Johnson Valley, CA. As home of the annual King of the Hammers race, Johnson Valley is the home of the nastiest wheeling in the United States.

With trails named Sledgehammer, Jack Hammer, and Wrecking Ball these trails are not messing around. We chose to run the Sledgehammer trail, which is not long but is also not easy. Our group had to fight their way to the top, but we all made it there… our rigs also got there, but not without some damaging reminders of our time there.
