Top 5: Big Tire Shootout
**37’s are the new 35’s, 40’s are the new 37’s, and 42’s and larger are the new 40’s, right? This week we take a look at some of our favorite Jeeps with BIG tires. **
39’s: Drop Bear JK
Most of you know Chris as the Aussie iDrive guy, but his JK rocks some meaty new 39” BFG KM3 tires. Chris has taken Drop Bear all over the country and wheeled everything from east coast trails to Moab!
40’s: Bandit JKU
We got a chance to check out this incredible build at Jeep Beach in Daytona Beach and it’s shaping up to be one awesome rig. Richard decided on 40” Milestar Patagonia tires on his 17 JKU and plans to drive this beast to Colorado and then to Moab for 2 weeks of badass wheeling.
42’s: Jeepster McJeepFace
While there are plenty of 42’s out there Marvin takes this one with his incredible Hemi Powered 1973 Jeepster Commando. Marvin’s unique rig is rocking 42” BFG KR2 sticky tires and proves to be a force to be reckoned with on and off road.
43’s: Rogue JKU
We have been watching Heather’s build for quite some time and its progressed to be one of the baddest lady driven Jeeps on the planet! 43’s are a new breed of tire and the Mickey Thompson Baja Pro X Sticky tires might just be one of the most aggressive compounds out there. Heather has proven that Rogue is capable of anything especially with her recent trip to Moab!
46’s: Rubiclunk
The first question we have is… Why 46’s? The second question is.. WHY NOT? Jeff has been wheeling Clunk on 46” Mickey Thompson Baja Claws for a few years across some of the hardest trails in the US and continuously makes us jealous with how easily it climbs every ledge and makes huge dropoffs look like child’s play. Want a Jeep that will literally handle anything and everything? 46’s.
