I bought my 2012 Jeep JK in January of 2021. I immediately started "making it my own" by removing what the previous owner installed and what I wanted to add. Two weeks after the purchase, the in-dash receiver died. I bought a Kenwood double din unit that pairs perfectly to my android cell phone. I removed the front and rear bumpers and installed new steel bumpers from Oedro. These were awesome! The front bumper had tabs to which a Nilight 22" LED light fit perfectly. There were pre-drilled holes where my Rough Country winch bolted right on. Both bumpers had built-in LED lights and the rear bumper featured an integrated receiver for towing my ATV. I added an Auxbeam control panel for my lighting circuits and the single wire that feeds to the main control center in my engine compartment made that installation a breeze. My recent additions are a Wolfbox dashcam that replaces my stock mirror. This is a BIG 12" wide unit and not only records 4k video from a front facing camera but includes a rear 2.5k camera for backing assist and rear-view recording on a micro sd card! I just upgraded my coms with a Midland MXT575 50watt GMRS radio with ghost antenna and supplemented that with a pair of GMRS portables. My name is Jeff. I was born and raised in the Adirondack (ADK) Park of upstate NY. Join me on my adventures as I camp, kayak, metal detect, atv ride and off road in my home - the Adirondacks and beyond!
